ABOUT US
Active Approach Physiology provides safe and effective exercise interventions to people with chronic, sub-acute or acute medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.
Exercise prescriptions are individualised, and are developed based on a comprehensive initial assessment. Tailored prescription allows the individual to improve their general health and exercise confidence, while reducing their disease risk and burden.
The Active Approach Physiology Clinic is a private, non-intimidating space. All of our practitioners are highly qualified, professional and friendly.

WHAT IS
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY?
Exercise Physiologists are university qualified health practitioners that have extensively studied exercise metabolism, psychology, nutrition, musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation. Because of this knowledge and understanding, Exercise Physiologists are able to precisely modify exercise around perceived barriers. Conditions such as osteoarthritis, chronically unstable ankles/knees, chronic back pain such as sciatica, depression/anxiety, hypertension, diabetes, multiple sclerosis etc, are not considered barriers to exercise, but rather motivators!
